Oriva began with a journey of its own.

Our founder, Vu Bui, spent more than two decades as a construction engineer, working on projects that took him across Vietnam — from hydropower sites in remote mountain regions to rapidly growing cities and major urban developments.

Those years gave him the chance to experience the country far beyond the familiar routes. What began as travel for work gradually became a lasting fascination with landscapes, local culture and the everyday stories behind each place.

Inspired by those experiences, he created Oriva together with a team of experienced travel professionals who shared the same belief: that the most meaningful journeys go beyond simply seeing a destination.

Today, we design thoughtful journeys across Asia, combining local knowledge, careful planning and genuine human connection. We look beyond the obvious highlights to create experiences that feel personal, well-paced and deeply connected to place.
